Honking begins, announcing a swirl of activity and suddenly the sky is filled with Tundra Swans and Snows Geese.

Landing is standing room only. The waters of Middle Creek spill over to crowded banks. Along the finger like tributaries of Middle Creek, Canadian Geese find a more secluded space.

Migration is short lived. Tundra Swans and Snow Geese leave Middle Creek. By May, Middle Creek belongs to hearty Canadian Geese, small flocks of Great Blue Heron, Great White Egrets and other year round inhabitants.
